Municipal Applications
Six Godwin six-inch Dri-Prime pumps - four primary and two back ups - and six eight-inch HDPE floating suction lines make up the pumping system for a 12 mgd sewer bypass at a Maryland wastewater treatment facility. The system, set up on a narrow berm with weight restrictions and adjacent to a shellfish protection pond, included two Godwin Critically Silenced units specified to keep noise to a minimum for neighboring residences.
